Koh Lipe, Thailand (Info & Itinerary)

Koh Lipe is a small island in the Southern part of the Andaman sea. It is located in Satun Province, close to Langkawi island (Malaysia), about 60 Kilometres (38 miles) from the mainland. It is part of the Tarutao National Marine Park, a large group of over 70 islands, and also part of a smaller cluster of islands called the Butang Islands or Adang Archipelago.

The island has three main beaches: Sunset beach, Sunrise beach and Pattaya beach.

Getting There
*In high season (November to May)
You can take a ferry or speedboat to Koh Lipe, including: Pak Bara, Langkawi, Phi Phi, Ko Lanta, and Trang.
*In low season (May to October)
 The only way to get to Koh Lipe is by speedboat from Pak Bara,with 1 daily boat going all year

*From Langkawi, Malaysia
(November until May)
There are several ferries a day from Langkawi to Koh Lipe. When you arrive on Koh Lipe you will have to go trough immigration first. 
(May to November)
There are no ferries between Langkawi and Koh Lipe.However, you can take  ferry from Langkawi to Satun, where you clear immigration and can take a minibus to Pak Barra.
