Thanks Scarlet. Btw, is ICOCA a touch and go alike? What is the purpose for it and should I get one? lol

yea, it's like touch and go, you can use it on buses and trains. It depends on your itinerary.

i used Kyoto City Bus & Kyoto Bus One-Day Pass (500yen) to move around in Kyoto as i need to go different locations

Icoco card to Arashiyama.(JR train)
Osaka - Osaka Amazing Pass
Kobe - Hanshin Tourist Pass
Nara - Icoco (JR Train from Kyoto to Nara)

There is a new pass - Kansai One Pass 3000yen (2500yen prepaid + 500 deposit)
Kansai One Pass = ICOCA + some discounts to the attraction.
